Season's Greetings

This was one of those cards that got created by accident.  I was trying to figure out what color I wanted to use on another card and stamping all over a piece of paper.  I liked the look and tried in Razzleberry  and Smokey Slate.  The middle Season Greetings is gone over with a glue pen and covered in the glitter Dazzling Diamonds.  Nice easy card you can do in any colors for Christmas!

Stamps: Joy to the World, and Snow Day (2013 Stampin Up Holiday Mini)
Paper/Ink Razzleberry, Smokey Slate
DP: Polka Dot Parade

Tips: I stamped the top Season Greetings in Smokey Slate first and then turned it sideways with out reinking and almost lined up the s's in Season Greetings.  Next I did the bottom Season Greetings also in Slate and  with out reinking turned sideways and did again.  Then I switched colors and Stamped the middle Razzleberry and then turned the stamp sideways without reinking and did the one on the left of the first.  After that I just filled in the few blank spaces with the words and went back with the snowflake using both fully inked stamps and then ones that had not been reinked.

I hope that helps!  :)

Wicked Cool

Hello Again!  If you are reading this blog things might be a little backwards to you.  I always get some Christmas cards posted in August and September and then go backward and do Halloween in late Sept and October.  I really do know the order of the Holidays I just get busy doing a Christmas swap with other demonstrators so I get those posted and then move on to Halloween.  Hmm??? I know... it makes sense to me! :)

Anyway I am back with a Halloween card for you.  I did this for the Paper Player Sketch Challenge this week.  I always love the sketch challenges because you just fill in the blanks and "POOF" out comes a card.  If you want to visit the page and check out all the wonderful cards you can find it at

Snowflake Soiree #2

Happy Friday!  Here is my last Christmas card of the week.  This card uses the set "Snowflake Soiree" from the Stampin up Holiday Mini Catalog.    The small "Christmas" is from the set "More Merry Message" which you can find in the main catalog.  The colors in this card are Early Espresso, and Marina Mist.  The Designer Paper is from the same stack I used yesterday from the Holiday Mini called Festival Of Prints.  I have gotten a lot of use out of this great little stack of paper!

I hope you have a great weekend.

Penguin Pyramid

Good Morning!  So I think I must have been thinking about the upcoming football season yesterday when I was playing with my Christmas stamps.  Anyway I ended up with a very "cheery" Penguin Pyramid.

These cute little guys come from the set "No Peeking" in the Stampin Up Catalog.  I also used the set "Pennant Parade" for the sign, "More Merry Messages" for the Christmas in the middle, and the TO and the U are from the same "No Peeking" set.  To make the U use the Y on the Jolly Christmas stamp.  Just color in part of it!

The paper on this card is from the same pack I used yesterday out of the Holiday Mini, and the other colors are Old Olive, and Cherry Cobbler.

Thanks for stopping by!

Snowflake Soiree

Hello Again!!  I am still working towards getting all my Christmas swaps done!  I tend to go for the more cute Christmas cards instead of the pretty ones so today I tried for pretty.  This is a new set called "Snowflake Soiree" that you can find in the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog (p 5/ $21.95 in clear mount).  The Designer paper is also from the Holiday Mini on p 20.  You might have to look close but this paper comes in a 4 1/2" by 6 1/2 stack instead of the 12 by 12 that you are used to.  I love this paper because it is only $6.95 and you get lots of designs to use on your cards and projects.

Ink Paper: Basic Black, Bashful Blue, Island Indigo, Versa Mark (the snowflakes in the background)

I actually already have a card done to post tomorrow so be sure to stop back by!!!

No Peeking

Oh my gosh!  Count them up!  This is 3 days in a row of posting!  I am on a roll!  Here is Christmas card #3 for the swap I am doing.  This uses the set "No Peeking" (p23/ $17.95 clear mount) in the Stampin Up Catalog.  This is kind of an unusual color combo but I think it is kind of fun for this card.  The colors are Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, and Primrose Petal.  The tree designer paper is called "Snow Festival" and can be found on page 10 of the Holiday Mini Catalog.

Time to get back to work.  Will there be another card posted tomorrow?  I hope so!!!
